DUXBURY, Mass. — VERC Enterprises is continuing its involvement with cannabidiol (CBD) products, choosing Ceres Natural Remedies as a new supplier partner, reported APN News.

The Duxbury, Mass.-based c-store chain, with 30 locations in eastern Massachusetts and New Hampshire, announced in late December that it will work with Burlington, Vt.-based Ceres, which sells natural remedies in the form of hemp seed extract and CBD-infused fruit jellies.

Leo Vercollone, CEO of VERC Enterprises, told the news outlet that his research into CBDs led him to Ceres. “Ceres is an industry leader,” Vercollone said. “Our commitment is to bring the best-quality product to our stores, and the way to achieve that is to partner with a firm that invests in training and in education for the general public, and one with an investment in and commitment to our region.”

VERC said the company sent several managers to the Ceres facilities, where they toured the manufacturing areas. They also received education on what CBD products are and how to communicate that information to the public.
